About Us
Praise Tabernacle Church is a California Non-Profit Religious Corporation that is part of the Christ Holy Sanctified Church of America, Inc. (www.chschurch.org), a Pentecostal organization founded in 1910 by Bishop Judge and Mother Sarah King. We are a body of believers who fast and pray, worship God in Spirit and in truth, operate in the five-fold ministry, and believe in the Gifts of the Spirit (I Corinthians 12:1-12).
We are a community-based church located in the heart of south central Los Angeles at Florence and Normandie (1 block west of Normandie on Florence) that has been commissioned to build the hope of the people and repair the wall of the community. Our mission is “to help bring everyone who encounters the ministry of Praise Tabernacle to an unprecedented level of spiritual excellence and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.” Our scope is to provide an atmosphere of praise, worship, and a foundation of sound Bible teaching and preaching which brings salvation, healing, miracles, and victorious living.
Here at Praise Tabernacle, we offer a variety of ministries including Sunday school, Youth, Women’s and Men’s Fellowships, Music, Children’s Church, and target groups such as Singles and Married Couples and we welcome you to come and experience the move of God in this portion of the vineyard.
