Praise Tabernacle Worship Center...

As with most Christian churches, Praise Tabernacle hails from a tradition of Christian Orthodoxy.  Its foundation is that of a traditional neo-Pentecostal church.  And, while we appreciate our heritage, we recognize that the work of the God does not always lend itself to tradition.  It is not about doctrine, dress (the outward appearance), nor form, or fashion. God’s ways are not man’s ways (tradition) and reaching the hearts of people, in that they receive salvation through Jesus Christ (according to what the Bible says), is what we know to be most important.

Evangelism

Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19 NKJV).  Witnessing is paramount for us as believers of Christ and we must tell others about the Savior who died for their sins that they might have a right to the tree of life.

Outreach and Missions

When we help those who are less fortunate than ourselves; when we have compassion on those living in foreign lands who do not have the conveniences we often take for granted on a daily basis (clothes, food, shelter, basic hygiene, health, etc.), then we truly touch the heart of God.

Stewardship

We believe that there must be a commitment in our service to God and that we must be committed to the work of God.  Every church needs personnel and financial resources in order to fulfill the up-building of the Kingdom.  Without finances and personnel commitment, we risk hindering the work of the Lord in snatching men and women from the bonds of sin.

Fellowship and Relationship

Everyone needs the “human touch” and when we are in fellowship with one another, we are stronger as a church and community.  We embrace and support other ministries who are obeying the Holy Spirit in their quest to be all that God has ordained them to be.  When we cultivate our family relationships, we help build solid foundations spiritually and naturally.  The church is made up of families and we strive to encourage family relationships as a priority.  Most important, we endeavor to build spiritual relationships with God through the teaching and reading of His Word – applying His Word to our lives – and through prayer and fasting.
